The Leonid meteor shower was pretty amazing this morning, even with the city lights. Climbed up on the roof, backed my butt up against the pines to block out the moon and got a light show. Hopefully the pictures will come out and I will have successfully captured something. As always, the two most magnificent moments occured while I was sneezing and changing film. One seemed to drop straight down into our neighborhood. Highly unlikely but it was incredibly vivid and bright. The other streaked across the sky to disappear for a split second and then reappear and continued it's path of light. Magnificent and worth dragging my ass out of bed at 4am.
