2004 is shaping up to be a bloodbath. Condi Rice has given the public a peek into the initial strategy of the Bush campaign and their desire to pin their failures on previous administrations. True to form, the pundits are picking up on it with glee, running pell mell, and spinning like dervishes. What about questioning the administrations responsibility to the public to fully review and respond to the transition team's detailed reports? Especially those on terrorism. The administration's balking on releasing the findings of the 9/11 investigation but rabidly willing to blame their predecessors for their own failures?
Wouldn't they benefit more by lauding their accomplishments than focusing on tearing down the previous administration whose surplus they've squandered? Oh wait, nevermind.
