Bachelor eye for the married guy

What happened to the desire to go nuts, go drinkin' and just cuttin' loose? I've either been MWC too long or this isn't a phenomenon and happens to everyone. The wife and child are in Chicago for a week and my weekend's list of wild and crazy activities looked like this;

1. clean house
2. do dishes
3. yardwork
4. grocery shopping

On the upside, everything's still in the same place it was Saturday morning and it's temporarily acceptable to have chocolate donuts at midnight.

Today's been reserved for playing and tomorrow's reserved for a funeral.

I lost another co-worker and friend to cancer again. I'm fucking sick of this shit. Lovely woman, 3 kids, not yet 40, after exhausing all possible treatment, was taken away by some very very aggressive brain cancer.

Teresa, you will be missed. I just wish your husband had understood how much and what your life impact was...........and then allowed your friends access to say goodbye.

As I have been reading your posts on a daily basis now for many weeks, I've been instructed to actually respond to your posts by your lovely wife. So here it is, response number one. Riviting so far, isn't it. The reason I'm responding is to tell you that as a confirmed life long batchelor my schedule for today consists of the following: go to work, come home, do dishes, clean the house, watch the daily show, rinse, repeat. So, in short, into every life a little housework must fall. But on the brightside, so doughnuts.

I can lend you an eye anytime you want.
