* Regarding the swirling questions around the tragic death of Nick Berg. FWIW, it's not a conspiracy until the investigations into all the unanswered questions have been fully exhausted.

* Slate took the time to list out a smidgen of the blame gaming going on from the right on the abuses in Abu Ghraib. Stunning some of it... appalling, others.

* Just for fun, be a 'Hawk' for a month. Brave brave *brave* man. I couldn't pull it off.

After reading Prager whining about Sudan and then catching bits and pieces on the news last night about the refugees and their escape from the government's brutality and the need for them to move again before the monsoon rains start. One of the things that stuck out was our assistance.......
