Thought for the Day
George W Bush will eventually leave the White House. Whether it occurs in January of '05 or January of '09, George W Bush will return to Crawford Texas. He's still, geologically speaking, quite young. This fact guarantees that for many years to come he'll be at the forefront of national politics, state and regional campaigns, industry conventions and the occasional 'watch me clear this brush pile' news bite. While our tax dollars will still be invested in him with security, travel and pension, what they won't be funding is an army of highly-skilled speech writers. Here's where the future of comedy fodder becomes ripe for the picking. From his White House exit until his leap off this mortal coil the American people will be blessed with direct viewing of Bush without a gaggle of handlers.
May we all misunderestimate his highly articumalatedness as he rides into the sunset on his high horse.
