Once again it's time for Texas Tuesdays.
This week's profiled candidate, David Leibowitz is one of the few Democrats who stand a chance of winning their seat and even the GOP are close to writing off District 117. A look at the candidate is here and a review of the overall district is here.
In a Hill Country district with multiple military bases and significant environmental needs, as well as the swiftly expanding hispanic voter base in San Antonio, it's important to have someone focused on the issues important to the people and land being represented. Go show some love.

i don't think i can get that from someone who lives in the dominion. when i see you in my neighborhood, and not taking advantage of my neighborhood, then maybe i'll vote for you.
Posted by: chico san at September 1, 2004 11:26 AMTo Chico San, I hope that you have the ability to see David Leibowitz lived, grew up and was educated in a neighborhood no different from yours. He has worked hard since the day he graduated from that High School in the Valley. He has worked not only to help himself but to help everyone he possible can to have a better and fairer life. He knows how you feel, he has lived it. I know this because I grew up right along side of him--I am his little sister! Let me tell you he works every waking minute for people like you, he uses his strong voice as yours. He will represent you, not take advantage of you. Hope you keep an open mind---Becky
