Bonus Logic

Terrorism didn't begin on September 11, 2001. It started earlier than the Beirut barracks attacks in 1983. It began in the hearts of evil men who preached about an angry god intent on wiping out his enemies through violent acts. That disease spread, and whether it found a host in Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden, the virus exploded into a worldwide plague.

Refresh my memory, where did Osama get his Stinger missiles and where did Saddam get his biological weapons? Why now is it a black mark against John Kerry and although he's presenting a solution for an exit, will still have to be the cleanup crew for the sloppy frat boys that lived in the house before him.

Ref: Refresh My Memory:

Doesn't GWB own up to our part in history the following excerpt from his speech to the U.N.?

"These two nations will be a model for the broader Middle East, a region where millions have been denied basic human rights and simple justice. For too long, many nations, including my own, tolerated, even excused, oppression in the Middle East in the name of stability. Oppression became common, but stability never arrived. We must take a different approach. We must help the reformers of the Middle East as they work for freedom, and strive to build a community of peaceful, democratic nations."

So, perhaps it's time we forget the past and look to the future. A stable Arab world cannot be acheived by arming one Arab country against another. It cannot be acheived by allowing tyranny and oppression to continue unabated. However, it's not the USA's responsibility alone. It's the free world's responsibility. Question is: If the free world isn't willing to do it, do we "go it alone?"
