Tweeks

Spinning is old hat, Whirling is in

* Anyone else catch Peggy Noonan last night on MSNBC spinning the loss of 380 tons of known explosives as proof Saddam was a bad bad man? We know this ammunition is there, we invade, ignore the cache and then attempt to look surprised when it comes up missing? The Keystone Cops looked more together than this team of "planners". We've got Condi Rice saying she only *just* found out about the disappearance a couple of weeks ago. Um, wasn't she the queen bee in charge back in 2003? Wouldn't knowing be her job, being National Security Advisor and all?

* Things are going to really start settling down after 65.82434% of the Iraqi population vote in January for a new leader, hand picked from the grouping of expats we've imported. Please ignore the bombings, they're simple distractions for the media.

* Onward Christian Soldiers.........marching as to war.....

* No, really, it's about protecting marriage. It's not about hate or discrimination or working tirelessly to ensure that a portion of the population is marginalized due to minor differences.

* Internal Bush pollings are displaying something less than wine and roses. How do you think this will play out in the stump rhetoric? Yep, Kerry is scary and Bush is brave, wash rinse repeat.

* Sinclair and the power of the shareholder. One small step for man...

* Bush says "P.U.L.L. my finger". I've been waiting for this to bubble up since I read "Fortunate Son", three years ago.

* Bohemian Presidency.

* Track the key electoral votes election night with this handy dandy guide.
