* Thousands turn out for Kerry, Bush turns out to be Benny Hinn.
* The Crawford paper *and* the Waco paper both endorse Kerry? Even sending Bush back home's not going to have that warm fuzzy he's come to expect.
* Dear Georgie, 2004's going to be a bit harder to do than 2000. Sincerely Jeb.
* Holy crap, Allawi talks differently without the administration's hand up his ass.

* How not to win swing voters.
Most Importantly...
"The Crawford paper *and* the Waco paper both endorse Kerry? Even sending Bush back home's not going to have that warm fuzzy he's come to expect." Hmmmm... can't we say the same for Mr. Kerry has the Boston Herald has endorsed Mr. Bush?
" The primary reasons wounds don't heal, dumb f*cks keep picking at the scabs. Can't we just fight our current war for a second?" Apparently the monkeys know no Vietnam vets to understand the bitterness of fighting a war without the support at home compounded by getting stabbed in the back by your "brothers' in arms." What Mr. Kerry did after Vietnam is very relevant to his desire to become the commander-in-chief. He was for that war before he was against it too. That was the first of many examples of Mr. Kerry's complete and total lack of conviction and love for all things popular whether right or wrong.
"Dear Georgie, 2004's going to be a bit harder to do than 2000. Sincerely Jeb." Apparently the Democrats want everyone to vote even if they are not eligble. This is killing me to listen to the Democrats talk about voter intimidation and disenfranchisement as they all the while push their agenda of making every vote count even if that vote is not legitimate.
Oh... Democratic deceptive sign of the week seen on Campbell Avenue: "We can't afford Pete Sessions. We can't afford 30% sales tax." 30%? Wait?!? Wasn't the house sponsored bill only 23%? So, where's the other 7% come from? Oh, and while the Democrats rail the National Sales Tax proposal they neglect to mention that it would eliminate income tax. So whereas many pay, on average, of 20% on INCOME you'd pay 23% on just the money you spend on consumer goods. Hmmm...
"* Thousands turn out for Kerry, Bush turns out to be Benny Hinn." Ok. Whatever. Long and hard reach. Really hard and really desparate.
"Allawi offered no explanation of how his allies had been negligent." So let me see if I understand this? Allawi blames the multinational forces for the massacre of unarmed, ununinformed soldiers on their way home on leave? And how exactly is that? Is that the proverbial "buck stops over there?" Yeah.
* nothing says we care like a good military training course where we send you home through a war zone with no weapons.
* the monkeys know plenty of Vietnam vets and those seem to want to put it behind them and although they also served their country honorably, seem to still think that war was not just a bad idea, but waged ineffectively. if you truly listened to Kerry's post-Vietnam speeches you'd see that he was attacking those in power, not the men on the ground. he wanted our men home (or comfortable in the TANG), not dead on the battlefield.

One more game and we can all refocus our energy on the elections.
Posted by: kerry at October 27, 2004 09:29 PMAndy, clearly you have never read the Boston Herald. It's just another dumbed-down right-wing Rupert-Murdoch-style tabloid rag with about as much journalistic integrity as FOX News. It's for people who think the Globe is too big to hold, can only handle a fifth-grade level of writing, or can't get enough of the comic genius of Marmaduke. I used to consider them to be an OK source of gossip on the details of petty local political patronage hackery, but they lost any credibility they had when they hired Mike Barnicle as a regular columnist earlier this year. I just can't trust a newspaper that hires a writer who was forced to resign in disgrace from his previous job for plagiarism and wholesale fabrication of facts and sources.
