* Lil' Ben plans to graduate Harvard and then take a job as Ann Coulter's puppy.
* Jeff Jacoby says, vote Bush because Kerry changes his mind. Yay, Blind Leadership!!
* Michael Barone says; Iraq won't affect Bush, 527s are bad, pay attention to all the polls that show Bush up.
* Pat Buchanan explains how the media is to blame for all the administration's faults. CBS is satan.
* Diane West; I hate Kerry and here are all the things from his past that bug me. Bush has no past so nothing about him bugs me.
* Jay Bryant; Bush is going to win because ...of his intellectual capacity to grasp the revolutionary concept of an entirely new foreign policy. It's fun to be deluded.
Plus One
* The closer it gets to feeling like a Kerry victory, the more vitrolic the environment seems to get. More and more the anger and intollerance seems to be building up and festering on the right. If the election was contested, again, would there be justice or would we deconstruct into the worst example of democracy we could exhibit for those we're trying to convert?

That's the pot calling the kettle black. The left has been very angry and very intolerant of all that is "right" for the past 4 years. The left has spent 4 years belittling Mr. Bush's intelligence, morphing him into a monkey, comparing Mr. Cheney to a cartoon character who owns a nuclear plant, accusing him of stealing an election, calling the President a liar, and so much more.
Insults are not the equivalent of working to incite violence. Parody of or pointing out the shortcomings of those in power are not the same as threats or suggestions of harm to those in power.
Intolerance of the administration's policy is vastly different than recommending physical injury to those with opposing views.

Posted by: dmm at November 1, 2004 12:06 PMAndy, Andy: It was the "so much more" stuff that I liked doing the best, too. Let's face it, the United States may be many things, but it is not a dignified country. Never was, never will be.

Not one single occurrence of Democratic voter fraud, suppression, or intimidation is listed on the link. So, I guess it's not happening? And the 100 Monkeys are flying out of somebody's butt.
...tired of the one-sided reporting and dirty politics from the left and the right.

Posted by: silica gel at November 2, 2004 10:11 AMSlashing the tires on 30 vans to be used by the GOP is one example of "Democrat" dirty tricks. Making movies on how to asassinate the president is somewhat of a call to violence. I'll have to find the details on that one as I'm sure the Monkeys missed it in their daily quest for knowledge.
Fortunately, it would seem as though most of the bull from both sides, and I don't think its the parties as much as it is overzealous supporters of the parties, occurred in the campaign and overall the election seems to be going good.
I would like to commend the GOTV on both sides of the campaign. As much as I disagree with the Monkey's politics I respect and admire his willingess to do his part to help the democratic process. It's one thing to run a blog and run off at the mouth, it's a completely different thing to actually put in time, gas, and money into the process. That's patriotism at work.
