My experience was going to a grade school, picking up some Rice Krispy treats from a bake sale benefitting the school (very capitalistic), going into the room and placing my ballot down on a card table with a cardboard protector. Something like this /-\. While I was voting, the pledge of allegience was read over the loudspeaker (very patriotic).
As I was leaving I bought out the rest of the Rice Krispy Treats (very gluttonous), and left will a little warm and fuzzy feeling in my gut.
Oh, yes, there was also the part where I got to say:
YOUR FIRED!
I'm the man, oh yeah! Thats right baby! Can you take it! How does it feel! Uh-huh, Uh-huh, YEAH!
God I love voting.
