quantum skipping

* To those hollering about leaving the country, I must echo Oliver Willis. If you are really serious, get busy now. Bush's lame duck term will be over before you're done.

* Apologies to our friends overseas.

* Tom DeLay's finding a new home for god. In the public square. He'll be funding the new lodging out of his PAC.

* Reason 70432174213 to shake your head in confusion.

* Post election catharsis. Read, bang on something and then get busy.

* Stages of post election grief.

* I love getting links like this from my conservative friends. Democrats airing dirty laundry. Feck.

Ah the old phrase..."If you give an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, they will eventually write the works of Shakespeare."

More like give an infinite number of pansy Liberals computers, and they will eventually write tripe like this page!

WRT: " Reason 70432174213 to shake your head in confusion." We've had this discussion. Those who aren't religious by nature do not understand the sacrifices in this life are worthy of the rewards in the hereafter. Until you understand that you'll just be counting your reasons.

WRT: "Apologies to our friends overseas." Sad. Truly Sad. Half of America? It was 3.5 million more than half of Voting America that didn't care enough about what the world thought to vote in line with what they wanted. This is our country and not France's or Germany's. Too bad so sad, the rest of the world can accept President Bush right along with the minority of you who voted for Kerry and the larger minority who voted against Bush. How sad is that: Most of your support were voting against Bush and not for Kerry.

WRT: "Tom DeLay's finding a new home for god." As long as the left keeps attacking God, they'll be relegated to the political minority year after year after year, so please continue to ignore the lessons of 2004.

WRT "Bush's lame duck term": I'd hardly say that 4 years with nothing to lose and everything to gain along with the House and Senate to back him will be lame duck. Hopefully many of the left will recognize there's little stop Bush from moving the Republican Agenda forward and will, in fact, leave. Hopefully those who stay will continue their fight by attacking our values and our beliefs to help reassure a conservative is elected again in 2008.

WRT: "Post election catharsis. Read, bang on something and then get busy." The linked article assumes way too much. I'm not embarrassed to be an American. I was not embarrassed during the useless four years that Carter was our president. I was not embarrassed as the White House and the powers of the Presidency became Clinton's personal toys. I have never been embarrassed to be an American and never will be embarrassed to be an American. So, please go and hide your head in shame it makes little difference to the rest of us. Our country will survive. And I will continue to be Proud to Be American. And if the Democrats wake up, smell a big cup of coffee and return to the party of FDR and JFK, I could very well one day vote for a Democrat for President. (I vote for Democrats in local races all the time).

and Lulu .. let me preemptively address your one liner retort now: It's not me that needs to get over myself. It's the liberal movement that needs to get over themselves.

Tim: "rapidly becoming Nazi Germany"? Did you just invoke Godwin's Law? Way to Go. Now, please allow me to call B.S. where I see it. Please cite no fewer than 5 specific examples of Nazism afoot in this country. If we are rapidly moving that way you should be able to cite far more than 5. I'll bet a years worth of the Monkeys online time that #1 will be the USA PATRIOT Act.

Dear Mr. withit,

Your team won. Why all the residual anger? I'd hate to think that with god on your side and all, your level of intelligent discourse is really this limited.
