My 17 year old daughter was groped by a TSA agent at the airport because her underwire bra kept setting off the metal detectors (both the walkthrough and the wand). The TSA agent was a female and she actually put her hand underneath my daughter's breasts and ran them along the bra to ensure that she was in fact wearing one and was not smuggling an AK-47, knife, sword, or some other form of weapon under her breasts. It's idiotic that not one hijacking of any vehicle, much less an aircraft, has ever been committed by a 17 year old caucasian girl, yet there was some pressing need to confirm the presence of an underwire bra before allowing her to enter the airport secure zone.
And again .. exactly how many TSA agents does it take to screen aiport passengers? Perhaps we could send 1/2 of the TSA agents to Iraq and use them for green-zone entrance guards?
