Circle The Wagons

* "That song has a good beat, but the song makes it seem like having sex makes you a man (or woman). Do you think that's true?" ...when you're stumped for conversation starters you can use with your kids, where do you turn? Me, I trust my government to provide them for me. Hits like this and a vast well of wisdom await you at the new 4parents.gov website.

* Celebrating diveristy through hatred of differences. This week in "I hate you, you're gay", brought to you by "Traditional Values" where we refuse to evolve and the grand state of Texas where constituents are ignored and a bubbling brook of bigotry is sipped from daily.

* For those wistfully looking over their collective shoulders at the good old days. The simpler times, when "duck and cover" made sense, couples on TV slept in twin beds and a family outing could involve a lynching... they're baaaaaack. update: a hoax.

* Nothing to see here, move along. Gravitational forces dictate that shit must roll downhill and investigation of source is irrelevant.

* Is it fair to attack the largest software manufacturer, whose predatory practices over the years have lined the pockets of the few, for failing to stand up for equality? mmmmm, yes.

* But Jesus made music and fashion, we're just taking it back for him. Did he ask you to? DJ Jazzy Trevor throws down and gets all jiggy wit it on the internets... mediagirl calls him on it.

* Blind faith and unquestioned loyalty, not just a GOP trait.
