I kicked your ass, took your lunch money and want your last marble too.

What's with the freakish fascination and vitrolic anger by the wingers being directed at NPR? Googling "Liberal Democrat" to complain about ads? (click link, try to find ad, send to screen capture to me if you find one)

(note: what's the first entry when you Google "Liberal Democrat NPR"?)

Recently I had the idea of researching what the other side is doing, so I decided to search Google.com for the words “Liberal Democrat.” I found some very interesting things.

The first page of results contained mostly links for the Liberal Party in the UK and Europe – nothing at all to do with either Liberals or Democrats in America. The paid ads dealt with topics like “Dating for Democrats” and “Anti-Bush Gear,” and of course the Leftist propaganda website MoveOn.org was prominently featured.

However, the most interesting aspect of this Google search was the paid ad for National Public Radio at the top of the page. The ad declared:

“Liberal Democrat. www.NPR.org. Objective, in-depth & informed political coverage & analysis.”

If you search Google for “Conservative Republican,” however, you will not find any ads for NPR. It is obvious what type of listener NPR really wants to reach. Their political content is clearly biased and leans strongly to the Left.

(...)

Since NPR clearly has a liberal and biased agenda I believe it only fair they back the millions the government gave them to start their business. You think that will happen?

Yeah, NPR should pay back the government, right after Chrysler, American Airlines, United pay back their bailouts. After off-shore corporations and foreign owned news services start offering the nation a real service for the tax breaks they receive. When the American government starts spending less money on pork projects that now eclipse the Public Broadcasting funding. When the $350 million investment (15.3%) the federal government makes on CPB isn't a mere fraction (3.98%) of the tax dollars our Congressional Medal of Freedom winner lost in Iraq.

NPR is unbiased... thus the right hates them.

What is scary is that this is a full-scale attempt at a coup d'etat by the New American Century folks.

And they'll attack everywhere.
