Thank you for Hurricane Dennis. Without which, our so-called liberal media would have been forced to invent more seemingly newsworthy details on the missing girl in Aruba.

Thank you for journalistic evolution that's become so afflicted with myopia that they've collectively lost ability to focus on more than a single story at a time and selectively choose only those that can be parsed by catering to the lowest common denominator.

Thank you for a weekend completely free of news surrounding the 48+ civilian and police deaths in Iraq, the exposure of Karl Rove's treasonous act, the low number of new jobs created, the exponential bloat of the national debt, the pending sale of Unocal to the Chinese, the misuse of taxpayer dollars in Ohio, the missing 8.8 billion dollars in Iraq, the renewal of Halliburton contracts in the theatre of war while misappropriation investigations are still ongoing, and the swift erosion of civil rights under the guise of protecting freedom.

Thank you for being so readily available to the put-upon majority in all 3 branches of government when they need a way to justify their manufactured wedge issues and allowing yourself to be the raison d’être for unfettered invasion of personal privacy.

Thank you for leaving your infallible words up to interpretation, creating maleable and obtuse teachings that can be used as the touchstone for all legislation, presidential decisions, governmental nominations and the whole eye for an eye thing.

As the one true leader of "God's Own Party", it's only through you we can ensure the legacy of "pre-emptive measures" permeates throughout American society; from private medicine to the books we read all the way to our personal sex lives.
