In their own words

Stossel I recently finished a tour for my book, "Give Me a Break." Weirdly, the same month "Give Me a Break" came out, my publisher released a book by my wife's ex-boyfriend.

His book was not political, but he is well-liked in the liberal media world. After our books came out, I turned on the radio, and the first thing I heard was Imus gushing about how wonderful my wife's ex-boyfriend was. Even my wife rolled her eyes. My publisher couldn't get me on Imus.

(...)

That's the debate the media's supposed to advance.

I didn't find much of it in the "open-minded" liberal media.

You can't get a break with the liberal media when it comprises ~5% of the available airtime.

Virgin Ben As I explain in my new book, "Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism Is Corrupting Our Future," Hollywood's focus on pushing the envelope leads to greater societal tolerance for higher levels of deviancy. According to the TV execs, we should all embrace the deviant -- after all, these transgendered students are "idealistic and impassioned," going through "life changes" just like the rest of us. Who are we to condemn them?

You're a sexually inexperienced tightass who wrote a book about the ills of porn in a hermetically sealed vacuum.

Bozell They are left-wing radicals, but I don't know that Goldberg is even a conservative. I say this because a couple of years ago, I spent an evening plying him with liquor in a bar and still couldn't get his tongue wagging.

Now, imagine Bozell grilling Linda Tripp.

Hanson Apparently, the liberal opposition thinks sarcasm and negativism can reverse the larger political tide of the last three decades. Good luck.

Beats corruption, budget overrun, waging war on; women, the poor, etc, outing spies, raping the environment and eroding civil rights. I'll stick with sarcasm.

Prager An honest leftist would say: "Because I view this war as immoral, I cannot support our troops." What is not honest is their saying, "Support the troops -- bring them home." Supporting people who wish to fight entails supporting their fight; and if that fight is opposed, those waging it are also opposed.

Aside from being a deluded fuckwit, Prager refuses to acknowledge that a.) there's a slight possibility that a large number of troops might not want to be in Iraq and that they're not allowed to question their orders and b.) in an era of rampant terrorism and with Osama still commanding, pouring billions of dollars and thousands of lives into Iraq isn't necessarily showing the utmost *support* for our troops or the safety of our nation.
