Grand Theft Auto; San Andreas. You get to blow people's heads off, run over pedestrians, steal cars and cause all kinds of neato cathartic chaos, most often found in movies starring the Governor of California. What could possibly get the government's panties all bunched up over a video game with less violence than real life in Iraq or some of the Army's recruitment games?

Interestingly enough, the images used on the news, as they reeled in mock faux horror, showed a black man and a white woman mid-coitus. Which of America's freakish base fears are they attempting to cater to; the dormant bigotry or the projected puritanicalism?
