Raising Cane and Slaying Able

* Social Security reform is back and Bush, in an effort to keep it non-partisan let Karl Rove speak to it and then said;

The president told the assembled guests that “groups like MoveOn-dot-something” have been attending congressional town-hall meetings and “raising cane” about Social Security reform. Meanwhile, Bush said, “our folks have been working” on changing the entitlement system, the source wrote in an e-mail.

Um no Georgie, they're getting spanked.

* Actions vs Words. Is America a Christian nation if you judged it on its behavior?

* The world according to Tom DeLay, "rules need not apply".

* Why GWOT, when you can GSAVE? Godawful Skirmish Against Vacuous Edicts.

* Do we really need a fake TV series on Iraq to compensate for the lack of footage on the "real news" channels?

* What does Bobby Brown and John G. Roberts have in common? Ask Ann.

* The Wimp in Chief will cut brush on his ranch in the hottest month of the summer but won't weather possible rain to speak to Boy Scouts at their Jamboree? Guess the TANG didn't toughen him up enough.

One thing about SS reform, if they are concerned with us having money when we retire, why do they continue to devalue the dollar?

The boys scouts asked Bush to delay until Sunday, due to 300 cases of heat exhaustion and other heat related issues at the jamboree.

What kind of shape are these "scouts" in? I thought boy scouts knew how to deal with being outdoors. First 4 leaders electrocute themselves and then 300 scouts get heat stroke from "waiting?"
