Texas: Justifying Stereotypes Since the Fall of the Alamo

Given the state's collective proclivity for voting against their own best interest, by dawn on November 9th a large number of us may have the option to file our taxes as single.

Article I, Texas Constitution, (The Bill of Rights) is amended by adding Section 32 to read as follows: Sec. 32. (a) MARRIAGE in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman.

(b) THIS STATE or a political subdivision of THIS STATE MAY NOT CREATE OR RECOGNIZE ANY LEGAL STATUS IDENTICAL or similar to MARRIAGE.

Texas, do us all a favor and vote no... as worded, this is going to be tied up in the courts for friggin' ever. At, of course, the expense of the taxpayers. The same taxpayers whose children were short-changed by the incompetent legislative dorks that created this superfluous nonsense.
