Dear Mr. Bush,
The sweet smell of success is in the air. For Christmas you've given us hope for the future in Iraq (not so much here...) and Democracy throughout the Middle East.
So why again no timetable for removal? We've had the Iraqis on a series of timetables for getting their acts in gear. So what's the status report?
Now it's time to let Democracy flourish by itself.
Before we go and invest another $100 billion on "rebuilding", can we have a full top to bottom audit of the monies already embezzledinvested, a complete retroactive review of the former CPA officials and a corporate-styled assessment of where we are on our planned progress to date?
Bringing home the 20K troops sent over to monitor elections isn't a reduction in troops, just like reversing tax cuts isn't a tax increase. Pretend you truly are the CEO President and plan for the future.
a voter. (not yours, of course.)
