How's the State of Your Union?

We're days away from Bush's favorite day of the year (no not his vacation(s)), the SOTU. Expect much from this year's speech. He's going to ratchet up language on Iran, tout the success in Iraq, laud the strength of the economy and tell us how unpatriotic it is to question his decisions. Before the lies become talking points and are believed by the unwashed masses, remember, the DJIA isn't the measure of our economy, more war casualties isn't a way to honor the dead and saying you have broad sweeping authority, doesn't make it so.

Howyadoin'?

* Boy, supporting the troops sure has taken a bizarre turn.

* The economy may be good for the top 1%... the rest of us, not so much.

* Tip-Toeing through the bluebonnets apparently doesn't buy any favors.

* This is the opposition.

* America's most wanted is still making home videos.

* Medicare, please file under "fucked". Maybe it's a states' rights thing.

* You know that unique squeal a pig makes when you've got him pinned down? No?

Odds are he won't broach the words failure or impeachment but will use; terror(ism), 9/11, hate, freedom, fear and security in alternating repetition.
