Bush on Katrina:
"We will learn from the lessons of the past to better protect the American people," President Bush said.
Bush on the safety of our ports:
"This deal would not go forward, if we were concerned about the security for the United States of America," said Mr. Bush.
Fascinating. Hollywood, that festering stewpot of liberal ideology, will spend thousands of dollars on one movie focusing on ensuring seamless continuity but the President of the United States' handlers can't ensure that as he leaps from topic to topic he doesn't contradict himself.
Katrina exposed security issues, risks and an appalling lack of concern for the security of our citizens. Proof of lessons learned is in the way the changes are implemented.
