On December 7th, 1941 America suffered the worst attack on its soil. From the ashes rose one man to lead the city and ultimately the nation to greatness, Lester Petrie. As the mayor of Honolulu, Lester worked to renew the spirit of the community and encourage the purchasing of war bonds as an example of the resilience of the men and women in uniform as well as the American populace as a whole.
Vote Petrie! - Because, simply being there is qualifying enough.
